Service Description

Pottery Retreat for Two. Escape, unwind and create in our Central Victorian bush setting with fully operational permaculture farm and gardens. You will both have two extended studio sessions, one on a Saturday Afternoon and the other on the Sunday Morning. Your workshop include two finished and fired pieces of either wheel thrown or hand built artworks. ( more can be paid for by weight.) The lessons are taken by accomplished potter and artist Felicity, you are able to explore my fully equipped studio and select from wheel throwing or hand building to make artworks of your choosing. Lesson time in total over the two days will be around 5.5 - 6 hours. Our permaculture farm has many animals including Alpacas, chickens, ducks, dogs and cats. They are integrated in our permaculture systems, many free range and very precious to us. If you are not comfortable around animals staying on site may not be the right choice for you. We can suggest some local accommodation that might suit you better. You will stay in our rustic vintage caravan "Olive", you can graze the gardens for vegetables and eggs and bring your own proteins and snack food . Bread, cereal tea and coffee and milks provided. Our entire property is off grid but you will have a fridge, full gas stove, oven, BBQ and power banks for basic lighting, fan, diesel heater ( in the cooler months) and charging for USB equipment. Our 40 acre farm is an extraordinary example of a self sustaining, off grid permaculture oasis in the rugged Bendigo bushland. it includes my remarkable solar powered studio. A Permaculture and property tour can be arranged for an extra cost. Felicity and her partner have Permaculture Design qualifications and are also leaders in their local permaculture community.
