Hand thrown and sculptured candlestick using midfired clay. Glazed using a traditional Majolica method using a lovely satin opaque white glaze, decorated with colours over the top.
These candlesticks depict the adventure of foraging for the most perfect apples in a tree habited by a delightful family of Weebills, Australia's smallest native bird. They lived there happily with a beautiful tiny nest and proudly showed us their gorgeous little baby!
