I am a practicing ceramic artist with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Ceramics and an experienced, passionate teacher. My classes welcome complete beginners through to experienced makers, with a focus on wheel throwing, handbuilding, or a combination of both.
Pottery is taught as a three-stage process—working in the soft clay (mud stage), refining at the leather-hard stage, and finishing with glazing. You’ll be supported through each stage with guidance tailored to your individual skills and creative direction.
I offer a fully equipped professional studio including seven wheels, a slab roller, drape moulds, two kilns, and a wide range of glazes and decorative techniques.
Lessons are generally offered as a series of 3–5 sessions, commencing when places become available. Classes do not need to be attended consecutively, and work-in-progress can be kept workable between sessions.
Occasionally, I also offer small group workshops and one-off classes, such as making a mug or butter dish in a single session.
The studio is set within a peaceful 40-acre forest surrounded by wildlife and animals, offering a calm and inspiring environment to work in.

5 Pottery Wheel and Handbuilding Classes
370$5 x 2.5 hour pottery classes. Book in the session to suit your schedule. Learn to use; the Pottery Wheel, Hand Building and Sculpture Techniques. Your work is kept damp for 1-3 weeks between classes.Valid for 3 months- Monday 12pm, 6:00pm, Tuesday 12pm & 6pm Saturday 9am

3 Pottery Wheel & Hand Building Classes
240$3 Two & Half Hour Classes 1st Class includes wheel throwing and hand building of your choice. 2nd Class you trim and decorate the leather hard work. 3rd Class you return for all the glazing fun.Valid for 3 months- This Class pack can be used Tuesday, Monday or Saturday

- You get to keep up to 4 finished and glazed pieces.
- You will glaze your work in 2-3 weeks once they are fired.
