Felicity Burman has hand thrown, painted and glazed this light yet robust serving plate and developed a rich and expressive ocean like surface. Hand painted images of fish jumping out of the water appeared in her dreams after a day of fishing and playing on the NSW south coast. She has used varying techniques of layering glazes and hand painted underglaze to express movement, life and the narrative from her dreams. The form connects you with her makers hands with its gently curved side walls and hand finished surface. 
Midfire clay and Australian made food safe glazes.
