Service Description

Learn to make wheel thrown and hand-built pottery. Decorate and glaze finished pieces to keep. My classes are structured around your own skills and what you want to learn. If you have never done pottery before I can provide you with lots of inspiration and ideas! These lessons are suited for any skill level beginner to advanced. My inclusive studio offers a variety of 7 pottery wheels to cater for different body types and techniques. It is fully equipped with a slab roller and tools to support all construction techniques. Be guided in different making and decorating techniques to ensure you have success in producing functional or sculptural work with excellent results. Learn at your own pace with Felicity. A highly skilled artist and teacher who holds a bachelor’s degree in Ceramics and a Graduate Diploma in Teaching with over 30 years of experience. Go to the Pottery Class Plans tab to purchase either a 2 Class Pottery Experience or a 5 Class pack, become a site member, login then come back here to book the classes that suit your schedule. Or contact me by phone or email to purchase and book. $320 for a 5 class pack which includes all materials, clay, glazes and kiln firings. $210 for a 3 Class Pack. You Make in the first class, Trim and finish in the second class and Glaze in the third class! Allow 2 weeks between the 2nd and 3rd class for your work to dry and be fired ready for you to apply the glaze. All materials and firing included ! Expect to make 3-4 finished pieces. Cancellation Policy

If you need to reschedule a class, please contact me in advance so we can find a suitable time or transfer credits to your next booking. Transfers are only permitted if the request is made more than one week prior to the scheduled booking. A 5 class pack allows one short notice cancellation. You may reschedule one class within 7 days’ notice of a booking up until one hour before the class. If you have more than one short notice (less than 7 days cancellation from the booked date) credit is unable to returned to your pack for these classes. Please discuss your schedule with me if you need to arrange class times around work and holidays, it is usually quite possible. Classes are best to be taken within 2-3 weeks of each other to ensure ongoing work is still damp and easy to locate. Work in process kept for more than 1 month may need to be recycled. Fired work will be kept for up to 1 month for collection or glazing. Add 3 Classes To A Pack CANCELLATIONS A class booked using Add 3 Classes To A Plan cannot be refunded at short notice for cancellations of less than 7 days. A booked class can be rescheduled with 7 days or more notice to allow time for others to book into that space. If you want the flexibility to be able to cancel at short notice the 5 Class Pack allows for 1/5 classes to be cancelled at short notice with full credit given. Please discuss your schedule with me if you need to arrange class times around work and holidays, it is usually quite possible. CLASS PURPOSE Add 3 Classes is designed to add onto a recently attended class pack ( within 1 month of your most recent class. ) Classes are best to be taken within 2-3 weeks of each other to ensure ongoing work is still damp and easy to locate. Work in process kept for more than 1 month may need to be recycled. Fired work will be kept for up to 1 month for collection or glazing. Two Class Pottery Experience CANCELLATIONS This pottery experience cannot be refunded at short notice, cancellation of less than 7 days.
