Service Description

Studio Access is unsupported studio time where you can utilise all the facilities of a professional studio. Studio Access is for independent use of our studio and pottery wheels during designated hours. This available for people with experience working with clay. The access fee includes use of equipment, communal tools, house glazes and communal greenware storage. No instruction is provided. We recommend studio access for people who have completed at least two 5 class subscriptions at Felicity Ceramics or at another studio. Those with a studio access subscription with have their own plastic storage box to manage the drying of their work. There is no charge for using our studio reclaim clay if available. If you would like new bag of Midfire clay this can be purchased in house at $27 a bag. Firing fees are $10-15/kg which includes bisque and glaze firing.

“It was the the highlight of our entire stay! We both made handmade mugs with the guidance of the talented Felicity. It was such an awesome way to end our stay. We got to make some pots on the pedal powered wheel which was a workout in itself!
The best part we get to have our creations posted home once they are glazed and fired by Felicity.

The pottery experience is an additional fee on top of our stay but we would both highly recommend it, especially for couples!!
